Learn more about our Community

My heart filled with a desire to save humanity before I could reach the cereal on the top shelf of our pantry. I grew up everywhere. My father was a humanitarian missionary. As one of his children, I was a tag along.

Traveling from city and country at an early age, I realized that my neighbors are unlike me. My neighbors do not look like me, speak my language, go to my school, nor embrace my traditions.

Watching my father hand out compassion to men and women who could no longer provide for their families on their own, I learned that different is not scary, but important. Neighbors needed good news, so he stood up and offered hope. I paid attention. With wide eyes and a big heart, I discovered that my life has this purpose: to appreciate my neighbor, reflect hope, and inspire action!

Over the years, Christopher, Derek, and I have spent countless hours dreaming together about a Greater Works Community. We laughed, cried, and wrestled with ways to save lives. One fall afternoon over coffee, Greater Works became a reality and our dream of Literal Salvation began.

I have always been amazed by the power of clearly defined purpose. Whether at home, work, or play, the art of dreaming aloud in the relationships we hold dear must never be abandoned. Purpose grows out of dreams and dreams out of relationship. Greater Works found a home in our relationship. I would like to take this moment to personally invite you into our relationship. This is my story, your story, and our Greater Works!
